Ventspils University of Applied Sciences signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Latvia

On Friday, September 4, the rector of Ventspils University of Applied Sciences (VUAS) prof. Kārlis Krēsliņš and the Rector of the University of Latvia (UL) prof. Indriķis Muižnieks in the UL House of Nature in Riga signed a cooperation agreement.

Within the framework of the agreement, both higher education institutions undertake to cooperate in the development of the higher education system, the implementation of scientific and educational projects, and also to facilitate the exchange of experience and personnel.


On Friday, September 4, the rector of Ventspils University of Applied Sciences (VUAS) prof. Kārlis Krēsliņš and the Rector of the University of Latvia (UL) prof. Indriķis Muižnieks in the UL House of Nature in Riga signed a cooperation agreement.

Within the framework of the agreement, both higher education institutions undertake to cooperate in the development of the higher education system, the implementation of scientific and educational projects, and also to facilitate the exchange of experience and personnel.


The VUAS rector highly appreciates the opportunity to cooperate with the LU, noting that close ties and contractually strengthened cooperation with the largest university in Latvia provides an opportunity to increase competitiveness, develop science and research of the Ventspils University of Applied Sciences, as well as improve resources.


 VUAS rector prof. Kārlis Krēsliņš, legal adviser of the rector Raivo Šteins and director of Ventspils International Radio Astronomy Centre Aleksejs Klokovs took part in the signing of the agreement as representatives of the VUAS university side.
